TMA
Safeguards for workers operating alongside fast-moving highways. The purpose of the Blade Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) is to safely deflect the impact of an unruly vehicle moving at 100 km/h or less. To further the vehicle’s functionality, the TMA truck can also be outfitted with optional equipment like a VMS board and Arrow.
All present and upcoming Australian safety regulations are met by the Blade TMA.
Roll-ahead distance was used to test and approve MASH crashes.
Built in accordance with the necessary AS3845.2.2017, VSG-11, and VSG-12 requirements; NHVR authorized
Authorization from the IVECO manufacturer to install the Blade TMA
Key Features:

Patented Design
The Blade TMA has 12 internal blades and a distinctive structure with composite aluminum welded profiles. The aluminum components may safely bend outward and absorb the impact when the first four blades cut through the aluminum composite H-beams and the following eight blades cut through the welded tubes.

Crash Testing
In accordance with the Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH) guidelines, it has undergone extensive crash testing to guarantee its efficacy in practical situations. When the attenuator is not in use, the Blade TMA can be deployed and stored vertically on the back of the truck, allowing for the full length of the bed to be used for moving cones and barrels.
